I am looking for great buddies whom are like me - caring for our car without knowing how to start or what to do to maintain or improve our car’s exterior and interior surface.

And this well-recognition SONAX products Clinic strike my mind and therefore I am here trying to co-ordinate maybe a group of 10 car owners to gather at Lot 1 on Saturday morning at 10am to 2pm or afternoon at 2pm to 6pm whom have the similar interests as me.

A minimum fee of $10 is all it charges to each participant. Thus, I believe it is a pretty cheap and affordable fee for a course that took around 4hrs and a FOC set of car grooming products will be sponsored by SONAX upon registration.

Details stated are as per below -
Highlights of the clinic:
1) A 20mins session to let car owners to understand the techniques and products for proper car care.
2) A 30-40mins to choose a car from the group to do product demonstration.
3) After the demonstration, car owners have about 3hours to DIY their cars and they are free to ask any enquiries. (Pretty attentive towards our needs)

The steps and details of the SONAX DIY grooming will be categorised into 4 steps:
1) Car washing – Dry method using correct SONAX products.
2) Preparation for polishing – SONAX Spray and clay
3) DIY polishing and waxing – SONAX Xtreme Wax 2/3 and Xtreme Wax 1 full protection
4) Interior maintaining – SONAX Interior cleaner, Dirt eraser and Xtreme cockpit cleaner. (which most of us neglected)

NOTED: Participants are given a special price to purchase SONAX products ONLY at the clinic. (Great for die-hard SONAX fans)

Details of the SONAX clinic:
1) Clinic talk includes car washing, preparation for polishing, DIY polishing and interior maintaining.
2) Each car owner should be able to understand SONAX products and learn correct techniques of maintaining their cars at very cost effective way.

Therefore, we will definitely be able to groom our cars ourselves easily as the clinic comprehends proper steps and procedures.

Was contemplating seriously getting a S80 but some friends were giving us some comments leading to 2nd thoughts about it.

Would like to know or any comments on this car on the followings :

a) Comfort and performance (at the range of about $145k, I guess we can compare the A6 and the BMW 5 series).

b) average maintenance fee (got lots of comments from my friend that Volvo maintenance is one of the highest)

c) average OMV and resale value.


Appreciate all comments on the above... be it rumours, facts or myth....
